Why would you waste good beer by making love in it?

Thank you very much!... Well the BP is dropping with meds... quite quickly too, the heart valve has a bit of calcification... Doc told me it would probably be 20 years before it needed serious attention, I have to finish one med in about 10 days before I can start on the cholesterol stuff and there isn't anything I can do about the jury duty except hope I don't get picked for a trial. It would be tough to work all night then try to stay up during a trial. Lawyers put me to sleep faster than a bottle of rum. I am trying to find a way to lower my financial output so I can reduce my work hours. 1 day off every 2 weeks and 70 hour average work weeks is literally killing me.

    "They're both f-ing near water."

I may need to point out here that Canadian beer is usually higher alcohol content that American made suds.

    Cheers!

Due to health issues, financial issues, dental issues, divorce issues and work issues... I haven't been able to get much done on it recently. However... this weekend I did purchase the WRC and rip into 7/8" x 1" strips. One side is still rough so I will probably run it through my planer if warmer temps ensue within the next week or so (doesn't look good) or maybe just run them on my belt sander to knock off the roughest stuff. This will make them slightly thinner than 7/8". I still haven't tackled the frames yet. I have one template done in mylar (for the middle frame) but 5 chines per side is daunting when it comes to cutting out all the notches and I need a total of 5 frames, 1 center, 2 midway on each side, 2 near the ends and stem pieces on top of that, plus the keel. I suspect this will be a Winter/Spring/Summer and perhaps Fall build if things don't ease up a little. Oh... my favorite beer is Leinenkugles... most any flavor.

Jury duty is really easy to get out of Steve. Just look the prosecutor in the face and say, "hell everyone knows the dumb shithead did it" and you'll be asked to leave quietly. If this causes you difficulty (I can easily see how it might), then just wink and blow kisses at the judge and any male persons in authority. This is a lot more fun to pull off and a big black guy's brother, probably will not kick your butt in the packing lot, afterward. If you still can't bring yourself to this level, just wear some lipstick, into the courthouse. Pick a nice flattering shade of bright, come do me, red. You can wipe it off before anyone sees you outside.

Popular misconception that Canadians love to repeat. Brits think their beer has high alcohol content as well. Not true.
The Canadian notion comes from the fact that a number of U.S. states used to allow 18 year old to drink 3% which was made by some of the big brewers and was often available in corner stores. Swill. Fact is that much of the pub beer that is available in Jolly Old is only about 3%. Damn you have to guzzle it to feel a buzz.Of course there are exceptions to all of this as the big brewers in the US, Canada, and Britain produce varying versions of swill. For the most part American beer, particularly their craft beers, are very strong.

Called to register this morning and found out it wasn't me... it's my son. Poor little ****. I hope they don't call him. He can't afford to miss work like that.

jury duty in the local court is not so bad, I served twice in the last 20 years. I just had to be available for a call in for 2 weeks. I would call and check each morning, if my group was not on the recording I did not have to show up at all. Went to work each day and by just phoning in 10 times I do not have to served for another ten years.

I also severed in a federal court the same way, but that was much more troublesome since it is over 50 miles away. fortunately my number never came up on that one either.

    Well, there goes that joke...

What a minute, if us Canucks are as stupid as you say, then I can keep using that joke.

    Ignorance IS bliss!

    Lol...

It's still a good joke...I used it all the time when I lived in Nova Scotia. I think the US and Canada fall way down on the beer consumption per capita list. I think we are something like 13th or so. The Czechs have the 1st position I think and the numbers were incredible. They can put it away.
Leinenkugle was one of my favs back in the seventies but it was hard to find. My Finlander friends used to bring it back from Minnesota.

Oh and don't let life get in the way of boat building...it's too important to mental health.

The biggest problem for him is that he is at work by 5:45 am... and will probably not be able to get time to call in and check. People who work 9-5 don't realize that half the country doesn't work the same hours as they do.
