piano punt

    The boat shape is dubious at best, though the drawing lovely. A weight study hasn't been preformed, otherwise the piano would be on or near the centerline, likely athwart and lot mounted at the highest point it can be.

    Instead of a view from both ends of the keyboard, consider just a view abreast, so the massive weight of that puppy can be place in the most advantageous location, which on a small craft is a critical consideration.

    Lastly, hire a qualified designer or NA, because you'll need certification compliance.

    I would imagine the sound board on the piano would just crap the bed, pretty quickly in that environment, not the mention what the strings and frame would do in short order.

    Could rip the heavy guts from a standard piano and install an electronic keyboard in the piano carcass. That would be much lighter and achieve the same general purpose for appearance and musical performance. Plus, the keyboard has more than one voice.
