Can anyone explain the reason there's a thin blue line along the separation between a peel plied surface and the peel ply when you pull the peel ply off? Visible only in very low light (dark shop) situations but it's real and consistent.
I've heard sometime in the past that it has to do with "Van der walls" forces but to me that's just gibberish, my last chemistry class was a very long time ago and I suspect said forces were being invoked concerning improved bonding with subsequent plies.
I'd really like to know, I'm sure it has to do with the epoxy being rendered asunder, but why the light.
