    Hy to all;
    A question about the use of Peelply on sheeted Plywood.
    I have some experience with foam core sandwich building, where we always use peelply for a smooth finish and to remove resin excess. Now I want to start building a sailboat with plywood (multichine) with exterior covered with glass/epoxy. I'm thinking about using Peelply for the finish, but I didn't find informations about that (in the Gougeon's Brother book is not mentioned). Has someone experienced this solution and can give some advice about?
    many thanks and good wind!

    Peel ply will leave the surface slightly textured, which is intentional. If you need additional coats, this is the way to go. If you're looking for a smooth finish then use a smooth material like Visqueen (the clear plastic they sell as painter's drop cloth in hardware stores). The DuckWorks article, Pericles listed above details this.
