    Go with satin then, it is easy to clean.
    No smell or minor, you wont mind it.
    Dries quickly, a FULL cure maybe upto 30 days.
    I find within a day or two, the surface is durable.
    If your worried, use a primer under the acrylic. Some now have primer and paint in the same gallon.

    The paint should last for you many years. I use acrylic water based paints inside and outside on the boat.
