Since Google and Microsoft are both public companies, it is perfectly appropriate for shareholders (that is, OWNERS) to voice their opinion on how THEIR COMPANY is run.

I know that and have posted on it in the past. We need an emoticon for tongue in cheek remarks.

As the ice cap grows, its weight pushes the crustal plate under it into the mantle. At the other end of the crustal plate, rising occurs, allowing human settlement. There is give and take enough even in an ice age to allow humans to survive and thrive. The North American plate that holds the Great Lakes is still rebounding from the last ice age.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-glacial_rebound

"At the end of each glacial period when the glaciers retreated, the removal of the weight from the depressed land led to slow (and still ongoing) uplift or rebound of the land and the return flow of mantle material back under the deglaciated area. Due to the extreme viscosity of the mantle, it will take many thousands of years for the land to reach an equilibrium level."

I think we must deferentiate global warming and ocean pollution, two different matters. About the first is suspicious of having political meanings and being part of a global strategy. The former is quite evident and for the moment the most important and evident.
Big fishes had contaminated with heavy metals. Plastics still floating over there and still killing animals in different way. When plastic degrades not float but still in suspention in water as plancton and is hard to clean out.
Global warming can be part of the problem, but if our oceans still under attack I think this reduces the matter to waters pollution. I know both are related in different ways, but what will bring a good aproach is to center the question.

    Talk about fantasy over reality.

Still no answers whatsoever, but more obfuscation and chattering. You can't argue the subject or even stay on topic, it's like talking to paper caught in a whirlwind.

It seems pointless to argue with someone who says there is no way man's carbon pollution could be the cause of any environmental harm, but also claims mankind somehow created the Sahara Desert 5000 years ago.

It's too bad we can't argue politics, I read back and saw your declaration of States Rights blarney. I guess you know something the CSA Vice President didn't in 1861 when he talked about the new CSA Constitution.

Well anyway, when the revolution comes, good luck shooting, tar and feathering and bare knuckling all that disagree with you, it ought to keep you busy.

Pollution is a real problem which needs to be addressed. Anthropogenic Global Warming is a fairy tale for the weak of mind.

I tryed to be polite, but you are right. One vulcano can produce more global warmth than the human activity. And is know since the greeks, the planet have very long cycles of thousand of years, never is in the same place of the universe so the conditions never are the same. So we have colder and warmer periods, not necessarily regulars.

See that couple's foto I use as an avatar? That's US! Notice my wife's lovely honey amber complexion? Notice my darker red mahogany color? I'm part Sioux.
I don't think anybody would say we are snow WHITE skinned.
Never been a problem for me, as lotsa people envy my year round "tan".
But me a racist? You're barking up the wrong tree.

I'm against big expensive dysfunctional central government. We will reduce and oust overly intrusive runaway government by peaceful means, if possible.
Pray we are successful, because if revolution happens, it's because central government collapsed completely, and USA died..
