Would a flat-bottomed box-shaped barge be seaworthy?

Some Ark believers did claim they went to nautical model ship testing pool and determined the dimensions/ratios of Ark was about perfect for weathering stormy seas, according to tests done by actual NAs.

Not sure if they factored in windage/anti-broaching, but I do remember they tried tweaking the ratios outside the Ark's specs and began to run into trouble.

If there is a "golden ratio" for barge in waves, it does seem like it might be the sort of thing discovered by trial and error in antiquity the first time some guy built a set of floating docks.
