I am 75 yrs old and have just purchased an IMP Aztec boat. Supposedly a '71, but the boat mechanic says the VIN # indicates it is a 64. It has an OMC outdrive. I need to get an instruction book in regard to maintenance, changing the outdrive oil, lubrication, etc. We purchased this boat, not for water sports, but for liesurely exploring different lakes we come to in our travels. It is a 22' with a hard top cover. Any info or help will be appreciated. Thanks

:) Google will be your best friend for awhile.. OMC has some "proclivitys". The fact that this one is that old and still working is "maybe" a good sign. Are you sure the outdrive hasn't been recently repaired, then offered for sale? There are specific ways to operate the OMC drive, and to maintain it. I threw the link away but there is a fellow on the internet that has great advice on OMCs. Treat them right and they are as good as any. Treat them wrong and they aren't as forgiving as other makes. Spare drives are available from boat salvage places. Here are a couple.
