Need help finding year and operating range of Mercury 18xD

    Hi everyone , I have just purchased a Mercury 18xD outboard with serial # A 702665, it was made in Canada but I have not been able to find out what year or RPM range this engine has, I`ve tryed the internet but no luck and we don`t have a Mercury dealer in my town,does anyone know were I could find this imformation? thankyou Bill.
