Need advice on building my jig/mold

    MDF does vary, depending on manufacturer. Some of it has a very shiny face and may work with release wax. Mostly I've seen a more porous type surface finish which does not appear amenable to just wax. Could alway put a coat of Pre Cat Laq on it first - that should work.

    Using a finish surface mdf would do but would require use of Release Agents like Henkel/Axel to get sure release, with thorough filling/finishing of gaps at joints.
