Bla bla bla more drivel that I will never believe. Get the re-education camp ready because we are legion.

No re education camp needed, the education system is well aware of the importance of the awareness. Simply because some rare few "refuse" to learn what they don't want to know doesn't make it any less real. Simply means some would prefer to live with there heads in the sand believing instead in a fantasy.

The real problem is the pollution is profitable. So industry will run its disinformation campaign and run us all into the ground. While the environmental movement is so interested in appearing as politically correct as possible they aren't raising, or more accurately haven't raised the alarm in clear enough terms. Its starting to heat up as extinctions start to build and as warming occurs but at that point its to late to do much about it even if we had the technology, and we are starting to develop it. Problem is its to little to late. :

you might not be wearing your sunny's but you sure do have those blinders on as tightly as possible :p

Good morning. The sun will be up soon and then the shades will come on. Have a great day in the darkness that is being foisted on us by radical leftists such as yourself.
No spirally compact fluorescent lights for me. They go dim as they age and don't put out the light they promise even as they dim. They are also outrageously expensive and hazardous when they break. Stop shoving the ersatz green tech down our throats.

    Incandescent to the end.

I believe evolution is but one mechanism of God's Creation.

and part of that evolution included extinction events

    like the permian extinction ?

It was alright, as extinctions go.

then of course you are aware that a large amount of CO2 released by a prolonged volcanic event (about a million year long event called the siberian traps ) is what threw the climate into chaos and ended up causing the biggest mass extinction since the snowball earth event 600 million years ago. :D

    I didn't think so

the particulars of that extinction are pretty dam interesting, mostly because they parallel our present situation so neatly, Except of course that in our present situation we have accelerated things by, oh say at least ten to one hundred times and rising.

Thing is that in the permian it took about 40,000 years to increase CO2 enough to cause about a 4°C rise in temps, killing off some but not all land dwelling forms and some but not all aquatic forms. Today, just over the last hundred or so years we've accomplished the same but its taking a while for the temp to catch up with the changes in the atmospheric chemistry. Way back in the permian though It took about 40,000 years for the oceans to warm up (~4°C) enough to destabilize the methane hydrate and release it into the atmosphere. Which raised the temps another 5°C or so. Which is more than enough to kill off pretty much everything, land or sea.

It could happen again. It is good we are burning off that oil a little at a time so there won't be so much for a volcanic event to ignite.
