I took my new boat for its first sail last weekend. I'm like a kid with candy, so I thought I'd share a couple of pictures with you (it's a two man boat but the jib isn't on in the photo's). I bought it as a bare hull and bare spars and did the fitting out myself. By the way, I still need a name, but all suggestions welcome!

    New boat

Good looking boat, pardon my ignorance of things plastic if I ask what sort it is?
My "new" boat is about 50 years old, took about a year to restore from a near wreck. Attached a couple of photos of us racing this spring
    regards

Its a NS14, an Aussie class that I liked the look of. Looks like you've done a great job! When I was very little (about 6) there was a varnished albacore at my sailing club and to this day I think it is one of the most beautiful boats I have seen.

Nice looking boat PI. Love the roller doors and wide-view windows. Excellent idea to have security camera fitted...Pity about that thing in the foreground. You should have waited for the binmen to arrive before taking photographs....:D

But a sweet looking craft. Looks like a 'Skimmer' to me.:)

Thanks Berg (Bergs?, Bergy?) - with its dozen showers and large galley its more of a sinker than a skimmer. And terribly slow.
That thing in the foreground? Don't worry, I threw it in the lake after I took the photo.;)
