    Update:
plans should be arriving in a couple of days, i sorted some basic tools out, i have a location for the build (needs work though).
The wood is still an issue type i mean. Still waiting on supplier.

Epoxy and fiberglass are still in review, I am waiting for DOW to reply, CMB have a solution which i am not too keen on but will try. West system epoxy and fiber are available as a last resort.

Yep all is going great lol ....

    Hi there!

It looks like you are all ready to go... Just a small note on the calculations of the exterior epoxy weight estimate. In the sum that apex is giving you he has also added the weight of glass. It actually comes out to be less than 1 kg/m2. I am sure that there will be an estimate of how much epoxy will be used in your boat plans. Keep your pants on till they arrive, and clean up that building area...
You wanna be ready to start building as soon as the materials arrive. Make sure you spend some time to draw a layout of your workshop and think out carefully the building process to make life easier. A lot of things might not work out as you plan due to lack of experience, but at least you will have thought about them... so you will be prone to have made less mistakes. Also, study your plans thoroughly before you order any materials.

    Good luck with your build.
Now I will go back to watching your build, silently...

I'd think about the order in which materials are used too

Plans are late, im starting to worry ....
DOW came back to me and said how many cubic TONS i needed .....
They dont have the formulation and its too little to produce ...

The guys at west system seem to think my quantity is so low they are not entitled to email me back, took them 2 weeks to answer me to say i need to specify the codes from the web site for fiberglass, that was 2 weeks ago and no reply ....

Think ill just order and ship everything, seems to work better than the rather crappy service im getting but im sure then its gona be destroyed at customs or ill have to pay the value 10 times over to get it ...

Im pretty pissed off now ....

OK picking things up, finnaly found a CNC cutter to cut the frames (i got the autocad files for the plans).
Only i am not sure how thick the would should be? their maximum is 6mm for wood (they use laser cutting) they also said they will have problems with MDF.

I am looking for another cutter (not laser but conventional cutting?) but i am clueless ! dont want the wood to be too thin or too weak ....

Which frames? For the Mould? 6mm MDF is paper, 18 is my assumption, would work.

    Yes, laser.
