not sure if you intended those beers for me or Frosty but I say we eventually meet up in some far away forgotten pub on the lee shore off a storm riddled coast and drink ourselves senseless while we watch the combers roll in on a hard stormy night. A few ladies at the bar with us and a nice dinner on the way. Would make a perfect ending to all our travails and, we could show off our boats and have a rip roaring time to boot. I say somewhere in the Solomans if its convenient but if not then Vietnam is a place Ive always wanted to go.

    cheers

The team seem to be after perfection, and that takes some time... :D:D bogging, sanding, undercoat, bogging, sanding undercoat - it seems to be a never ending cycle...

I think the effort will be worthwhile as work progresses...
PS - why did you bleach your eyebrows?

I got it --i got it,--

it goes 90% of the boat takes 10%of the time and the last 10% of the boat takes 90%of the time.

mast, stays, runners winches, jammers, anchor winch, nav lights, and you havent got the engines in yet. Sails cut?

Not wishing to demoralize or knock wind from sails or criticize in the slightest, but as optimistic as I can be at times I don't see April.

I guess you mean a launch in April and finish off after.

If you keep going as you are it will be able to go out to sea and be able to offer accomodation in July:D

No im not a clever arse but I have been here twice.

Frosty, By your calculations July 2012? or well after - - Depends on whether I started before or after 2009 years ago?

It is not the time it is the MONEY The hulls and basic fit-out are 10% of the cost :D:D:D:eek: the rest  I understand that the definition of a boat is a hole in the water into which one pours money to keep it afloat...

Given that the kit for the hulls cost over $60k, I hope you have plenty of gold!

If reputed wealth I may be richer than I am and poorer than I seem, but the FED still pisses me off because of their persistent pissing on the markets in a fraudulent and immoral manner... I am temped to visit the pissing thread, but no need or point yet...

Alan, I think my kit was less than that... but that seems to tally if no bargain hunting was successful, :D, careful shopping can reduce the end figure significantly...
These were taken a couple of days ago some widget for something - sort of like a fishes tail:D:D:D:D

See this thread/link http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/open-discussion/mas-can-dish-out-but-he-cant-take-30516.html Post #7 and let your view count.

OK put up and shut up time... Vote on me... A single post per person, with either "IN for masalai will STAY" and "OUT for masalai to GO" and that means no more boat build progress, no more economics... Fanie, would you be so kind as to be "official tally", Rules - one of the two quotes to be used, one vote per person...

    "IN for masalai will STAY"

    "OUT for masalai to GO"
