    B hull 125
    SA upwind 35 sq m
Cheap and fast daysailer, "slightly" overpovered, built from ply, flat botomed.
Rear hidrofoil was just a thouth, i drew without any calculations :D

    tamkvaitis,

What software are you using to draw your design ideas?

Autocad mainly. I know that the render quality may be poor, but drawing internal and structural components is very easy, basicly all hardvare are using cad drawings (as I know)

I have re-calculated the sail area it apears to be smaller than 30 sq m. It is not quite clear from this pic, but i am instaling boiancy pod on the end of the outriger (the flat surface should be a boyancy pod). Question of flat bottom is realy interesting, I have played with many diferent types of design (multi chine, radius chine), the reason I designed this boat flat bottomed is:
    1. It should almost all the time be sailed flat (2-3 strong Lithuanian men on the 1.5 outriger)
    2. Bigger part of the time it should be sailed with true wind angle more than 90 degrees
    3. Flat bottom (if sailed flat) should give more dynamic lift, so it would start planing easyer.

I am looking forward for your opinions ;)

Ah, ok, I've been using Rhino to do a preliminary design recently, same sort of thing (except 35' (10.66m)) long. When I've finished the interior I'll post a render.

    Hi,
Just a thought have you looked at Dix designs, they have good designs with rounded chine plywood construction.
    Or the john welsford sweatpea.
Yours ideas look good, don't take boat design too seriously as some would!
    Yours James

My "new" design. radius chine plywood.

    Lol 8 meters
Bmax 2.50 but it has small wings so the beam is slightly smaller
Draft will be no more than 1.7 meter
Powerfullmainsail and small 100% jib, I think with jib sheet 1/2 system winches wont be needed.
    Crew 3-4
SA upwind abaout 35-40 sq meters
Now I am thinking of lightly redesigning it. I want to make it narower, with remavable wings and retractable keel, it would be easyier to trailer.

Have you estimated weight, ballast, displacement and stability.
    It's a lot of sail :)
