I have CFD tools at my disposal, but not really the right kind. The tools I have are geared toward single phase flow. In particular I am looking for supercavitation designs. Not surface piercing/ ventilated design with entrained air, but engineered in cavitation.

I have found a lot of doctoral theses at the University of Texas in Austin, and they seem to have some software that might be used for this, but I don't have any contacts.

If anyone wants to share references or contacts, I would appreciate it, whether it is a book, a paper or contact or software, I would appreciate it.

    Try this:

Achkinadze, A. S. and Fridman, G.M. (1995). On some aspects of design of supercavitating
foils and propellers. variation and asymtotic approach.
In PROPCAV ’95: An International Conference on Propeller Cavitation, pages pp. 163–174,

Is it really cavitating or is it ventilating?

I am looking for cavitating designs. Not ventilating designs. Ventilated/air entrained/ surface piercing designs are better documented. Sheet cavitating propeller designs and their analysis seems uncommon? Thanks.

Take a look at Star CCM+. Some co-workers are using it to calculate cavitating flows.
