Looking for canoe mold, or possibly some one to design a canoe That I could build a plug and build my own mold.
Thinking the 16 -18 foot model that could be used for family camping or fishing trips.
open to all ideas
Thanks

Are you planning fiberglass female mould built?
Any current designs you like or want something similar to?

Not open to wood strip built?

Hello upchurchmr,
Yes I am thinking I would build a female mold so I can build a few. Not really stuck on a design
I like some of the wood strip boats out there, if it was just one I might go that way but I am thinking 4 boats to start off and if I could come up with the right boat possibly more.

Have you looked at all the strip built canoe books?
There must be 6 or more available on amazon.
Todd Bradshaw always has a particular boat he recommends, you might search on woodenboat forum.
Sorry I don't remember the model.

All kinds of websites for wooden canoe kits/ plans, have you searched?

Good luck with building and selling 4 boats as a first project.
