Large submerging object in the River Thames

Very unusual for the UK,
A dolphin travelled up the river Dee past Chester last year,negotiated
a weir into fresh water,and stayed for a couple of days.

I know of dolphins on the Tideway (London) as I used to sail at Putney, and seals were fairly regular.

Yes, the 3.3hp shold be enough as auxilliary. Watch fuel tank size though, we have a couple of Mariner 2 stroke 3.3s' and they don't last long when used hard. Some guys use them on SB3s' or equivalent about 40 minutes running?

I would take spare fuel for it to make sure,Glad I can use the 3.3.
I've done about 6 miles with it on the canal on a 9ft inflatable on less than a tank.it will probably use more with the heavier boat like you say.
