Is there a difference in weight between a 3.0L and a 2.5L? Is so what are the weights? Thanks

Obviously there will be a difference in weight, however it's so small it's not even necessary to worry about. The difference is the 2.5 will actually weigh a hair more because the cylinders have slightly more meat to them, as opposed to the 3.0 having more punched out (well actually cut). You can always do a yahoo or google search for Chevy engine webistes that'll give you specifics. Just remember it doesn't matter who slaps a name brand on a block, it's still either a Ford or Chevy motor (unless it's old, then you might have to throw in Chrysler)
