Hopefully I'm posting in the right category.

One of my workboats could benefit from a good automatic trim and stabilisation system. It's a circa 11 meter by 3,2 meter planing boat with 22 degree constant deadrise and about 6500 kg mass with full fuel sans payload. 24-25 knot cruise and about 1000 hrs per year.

Looking at Humphree (as they seems much more rugged than Zipwake albeit at a cost) I'm a bit confused since they have so many options. I'm liking the heavy duty HE series (I find everything labeled HD appealing) but they may be too big so perhaps the X. The woman I spoke to at Humphree recommended the newish Lightning but they seem more of a leisure product.

Anyone here with experience from Humphree?

Boat Size and Specifications: Your boat is approximately 11 meters long with a 3.2-meter beam, weighing around 6500 kg. It has a planing hull with a 22-degree constant deadrise, and operates at a cruise speed of 24-25 knots with high annual usage (around 1000 hours per year).
    Humphree Product Lines:
HE Series: The HE series is designed for heavy-duty applications and larger vessels. Given the size and weight of your boat, this series could potentially be suitable if you prioritize robustness and durability. However, it's essential to ensure that the HE series models can accommodate your boat's deadrise and weight specifications without compromising performance.
X Series: The X series provides a balance between performance and cost-effectiveness. These systems are often chosen for mid-sized boats and offer good stability and trim control. They might be sufficient for your boat's size and operating conditions, depending on specific model compatibility with your hull design.
Lightning Series: As you mentioned, the Lightning series is newer and may be more oriented towards leisure boats. While they offer advanced features, they might not provide the ruggedness needed for a workboat that operates under more demanding conditions.
    Choosing the Right Model:
Consultation with Humphree: It's beneficial to have a detailed consultation with Humphree or their authorized dealers. Provide them with your boat's exact specifications and operational requirements. They can recommend the most suitable model from their range that balances performance, durability, and cost.
Installation and Integration: Consider the ease of installation and integration with your existing systems on the boat. Ensure that the chosen Humphree system can be seamlessly integrated into your vessel without significant modifications.
