How to remove boot stripe

    Is there a way to remove this boot stripe without damaging the paint underneath? The bottom paint below is Baltoplate. I'm going to sand the blue bottom paint down to the Baltoplate. Dry sailing.

    Wet sand with a fairly fine grit, though some damage will occur.
