Help with deadrise & co.

Hi,
I'm dealing with a 7 metres runabout design. The boat will be equipped with a waterjet, and the jet unit has to stay entirely below the swimplatform.
Following Hamilton's advices on hull shape near inlet, the hull is flat in the centre at stern, and "chamfered" to the prismatic hull (constant deadrise=20°) with a triangle. Now I think the static draft is too much, the boat won't weigh so much.. any advise on how to reduce it, maintaining the necessary height for the waterjet unit below the swimplatform? Maybe I can change the deadrise angle, but it would mean a lower deadrise at amidship than at stern, which is usually the opposite.

If i get it right, mabe you could make larger chine flats, and so create more draft and keeping same deadrise?

BTW, what kind of jet are you planning to use, I have a sortlike project for myself and I didn't figure out what kind of drive I will use, Jet or Stern

I narrowed the hull at waterline...
I'm going to get a Hamilton HJ213, I think it's one of the most compact, which is good for small boats.
