Hi this is my first post here .Im trying to identify the attached boat .Its 24 ft long ,is a 2 berth ,looks like the canopy has been extended at some point in its life so probably not originally on the boat .No hin/cin number no serial numbers,I did find under the paint on one side the name orca ,probably just a name though ,maybe a jaws fan .
Looks like a fletcher to me however I can’t find the exact match from extensive searches online .Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you measure that boat yourself? That picture at the lift, has a rather large person standing next to it, if it is twenty-four feet. I'd give it no more than 22 ft, but it is hard to tell from just a photograph.

I’ll accurately measure it tomorrow and upload some more pictures, thanks.

I zoomed in on your photos, but if you can take some better photos yourself tomorrow that would be much better.

Thanks for that .I have accurately measured the boat and it’s only 21.5 feet or 6m 55 cm .
I ve also found a logo on the steering wheel .Hopefully the original.
    Also taken some extra pictures.
    Thanks in advance .

Is the white boat a sister ship, or was it later painted blue?

Re the logo on the steering wheel, that is definitely Yamaha, but maybe she originally had a Yamaha steering system (and outboard engine).

The peculiar chock forward of bow mooring cleat is (I think) designed to hold a Bruce anchor - I remember seeing Fletchers fitted with them.

Are you planning on buying this boat - or have you acquired her already?

The white boat is the same boat before painting her ,yes I’ve already bought her .
I’ve looked at Yamarin models thought it looked like them ,however no joy ,also hundreds of fletchers ,still no joy on finding an exact match ,im thinking maybe the front bow port windows were added on .

Very probable - it looks like these two round hatches were added later - she was probably originally designed to have a single square escape hatch mounted on the raised plinth on the foredeck.
Or maybe she was fitted out from a bare hull and deck set of mouldings, and the first owner decided to fit the two round hatches then, instead of a square hatch.

Did the previous owner give you any information about her history when you bought her?

Although Fibreglassics is an American Forum, and I am pretty sure that your boat was built in the UK (but I might be wrong), you could try asking on Fibreglassics to see if anybody there might know more about your boat.

Previous owner had passed away and his wife and grown up sons knew a lot about the engine but very little about the boat ,apart from that he was towing it back and forth from various slip ways on the south wales uk coast .
Thanks for the link I’ll try them .

It has some similar looks to a Draco. It also looks like someone took out a sterndrive and mounted an outboard.

The white version of your boat did say Evenrude on the cabin side. There was a model number too. I couldn't read it very well. It either said, '150', or '130', or '450', or '430', or I am misreading the zero at the end and it's a '6' or something. Back in the late 50's and early 60's Evenrude has a line of fiberglass tri-hulls.

This is all great information,I did discover orca written barely visible under paint ,im wondering if that could be indeed Draco ,it was Evinrude 150 written on both flanks ,I thought they were out there because of the Evinrude intruder 150 on the back ,food for thought and more ammunition for research
