    Hello,

I have an aluminum boat and I removed the old transom wood. I already cut out the new transom wood and sealed it with epoxy resin.

I can bolt the transom from the Aluminum to Wood.

But my issue now is, how do I align the bolt from outside transom through the wood and pass the transom support ( see photo attached).

The photo attached is the before photo. I already cleaned the dirt on the transom. The yellow circle is where my challenge is.

Do I drill a bigger hole on the transom wood and fill it with epoxy, so that I can see where I need to drive the bolt?
