Leave the war dead lie in peace, and respect them for what good they thought they did...

http://www.gata.org/node/8043 "Mint resumes selling certain gold coins amid strong demand" US Mint that is, Perth Mint always sells whatever it has available...
http://www.gata.org/node/8044 "French bank tells clients how to prepare for 'global collapse'" - - good one, Societe Generale has advised clients to be ready for a possible "global economic collapse" over the next two years, mapping a strategy of defensive investments to avoid wealth destruction.
http://www.caseyresearch.com/displayCdd.php?id=280 - - It is STILL only the US$ falling - NOT the value of GOLD rising...

whats wrong with this picture Mark ( need I point out the crack )
that bell was made four times
first time right off the boat from England it cracked on its first note, The captain refused to take it back aboard for return to england
it was melted down and recast in the colonies
second time, same thing and melted down again
third time it cracked again and it was recast again
fourth time it lasted 90 years and cracked again
at which point some fool machined the crack out and added a few rivets to try and make the ******* work
didnt work and the thing cracked a fifth time

I believe that bloody bell and its sordid history represents all of whats wrong with America

    1st
you got screwed ( welcome to the world )

    2nd
on the one hand its held up as some shining example of American freedom
    on the other
thing is actually a living example of one big fat screw up that was never fixed properly now was it

    3rd
bloody wreck still has a whopping ugly crack in it, but for some insane PR work its proudly on display

    4rth
    and my favorite part
some group of fools try the same **** over and over again trying to fix it and actually think for some reason, somehow things will suddenly turn out differently ( as if that isnt a perfect representation of American will power, Afghanistan for example )
( I believe that would be Einsteins definition of insanity; please see Einsteins quotes )

in the end we have a cracked bell
a BS story of connecting the union in liberty
all hiding a perfect representation of American incompetence

my guess is you missed the class on the liberty bell
    let freedom ring

oh wait they gave up on sounding the bell for fear it would just plain fall apart
kinda like what you might try with your ultra-nationalist views

all countries involved in ww2 payed dearly even were it only with a single soul
including and specially the Axis powers who were as much patriots of there countries as others were to there's
I think it appropriate to remember them all on Veterans day and not just our own
most of the poor ******** wanted nothing to do with it anyway

    love
    B

"I believe that bloody bell and its sordid history represents all of whats wrong with America" -some see it half empty, some half full. There is a problem with feeling for those on the other side, tho. When we feel the pain of our enemy, we hesitate, we give him rights, we allow him to kill us. This is happening today with KSM in NY - Maybe because our F'ed up president feels for him, maybe just to put our CIA, Cheney and Bush on trial collaterally.
In short, Bos, I pay respect to an animal I kill to use but never having killed a human, I would relish choking the life from this sheik, for example, or a Somali pirate, a child rapist, many major historical evils, or someone who followed
    these evils.
...Which brings me to...Muslims. These *******s call their's the religion of peace - If they want to not be the enemy of civilization, they need to rat out terrorists like Hassan. Do I care that Islamic enemy combatants get killed? Only that not enough do. I will not put them on equal ground with our brave soldiers. Anyone that would, Boston, is "what's wrong with America".

Neither of the two actually know what you are talking about. DO I need to remind you that your country went against the Serbs to "defend" the muslim Albanians in Kosovo? ANd in the process carved out a peace that historically was ALWAYS Serbia and was NEVER Albanian?

Hundreds of US volunteers, and many pure anglosaxons with no direct affiliation with the muslim religion, joined Al-Qhaeda in Balkan wars, and fought together with those you now call *******s.

Such is the pover of self-delusion, fueled by ignorance and misconstructed image of the world that maybe lies outside of the boundaries of your own country. At least in your minds...

    Hypocrisy at its' best.

In the meantime, Al-Qhaeda is florishing in Bosnia and preparing more carnage of those naive, stupid and ignorant "western democrats" who know nothing yet pretend to know it all better than anyone else.

Case in point -you, Sinead, are an *******. For others reading, That war was distorted by both sides (speaking of - how long have they been combatants?), also, I think most do not have a problem with anyone's religion, per se, excepting when someone uses that religion as an excuse to strap a bomb on and blow up people in a market, for example. Those that stand by and allow it to happen are as guilty as the creep that actually ties the bomb to... a recent example was using a Down's syndrome kid as a bomb carrier. Sorry but for all the arguable problems in the West, a mind that would think of such an atrocity or abet it is not remotely welcome here (well, not in my circle).

    and this from yesterdays news

what that last did not mention was that applications for new housing permits was at an all time low

stocks are dropping like flies today as well

and some fool had to go and calculate what the interest is going to be on all this debt over the next ten years or so

    nice planning guys
we would have been far better off just letting the banking ******** fail

First time I have agreed with you in awhile but bailouts are chump-change compared to stimulus (paybacks to union bosses and democratic re-election slush fund). The fact of the matter is, if government were reigned in to necessary services and corporate taxes were eliminated entirely, in five years we'd ask "what debt?".

keep the corporate tax and loose the personal income tax on persons earning less than $100,000 a year
you would be giving the common man about +1/3 more money to play with annually and my bet is a lot of that would go to pay down personal debt

Good to see that the truth hurts even if it is not reaching what doesn't exist: your brain.
That is exactly my point. There is another retarded person who can, and should, be held responsible for strapping the bombs on people and sending them to death for his religious fanatism. Bush the criminal.

He is after all the one who, like every good fanatic christian cried "crusade"!!!

So your arguments, as stupid as they are, do not hold any value.

But, you think you have the right to insult people to make your point, so enjoy. Your personal insults are only proving your inadequacies. Most of all, your mental (since intellectual do not apply to someone this primitive) inadequacies.

    Well noted!!! 100 points...........

Though not the way you understand it! YOU are the liar!

Before you go to blame others for being ultranationalists, ignorant and stupid, you should return back to school (this time in a civilized country) and learn history!

Kosovo Polje or better albanian: Fushë Kosovë, formerly Dardania, was ever and will be ever, ALBANIAN HOME COUNTRY.

The Dardanian or Illyrian lived there since 4000 years (even in the southern part of todays Serbia). Sometimes under Bulgarian Regentship, later part of Byzanz.
With Zupan Stefan Nemanja a vasall of Byzanz, started the regentship of the Serbs in Illyria and especially near Pristina. The 1389 battle of Amselfeld (Kosovo Polje) has seen a Alliance of the Albanian, Serbs and Bosnian against the Ottoman. Later the Serbs claimed to have fought the battle, although it was lost.
That founded the historically false view of a "Serbian" region. It was just occupied, nothing else.

And before you start name calling, and mix up nationalities, I am a German, no roots in the Balkan region, sorry.

    mark,
    - - - "Those that stand by and allow it to happen are as guilty as the creep that actually" as are those who do nothing about the illegal behaviour in their own country USA, as in massive global institutionalised fraud, market manipulation, theft, breach of the constitutional guarantee of freedom of expression and other laws, abrogation of fiscal responsibilities in operating the reserve/trading currency of the world and hundreds of more key issues that must be sheeted home to the slack attitude to illegal behaviour that is endemic inside USA... You have tarred yourself with your own brush...
I am only commenting on this thread... Nearly all who are posting the information do so for sharing and a broader view... Some in abject arrogance and ignorance persistently attempt to belittle, insult, use demeaning words, curse the individual in a manner seemingly acceptable only in "USA the depraved", who insist on using the word "*************" as an insult to others... How sick one must be to even think in such degenerate terms...

"uses that religion as an excuse to strap a bomb on and blow up people" - - USA representatives do it with rifle and other weapons with the same devastating effect on civilian life... sometimes even using unmanned aircraft with no more thought than "Oops"... Again hauled by your own petard...

"The fact of the matter is, if government were reigned in to necessary services" - - So where is your political and community activism? sitting at home watching Oprah on TV - - Shock horror:?: Oh mark, You do look kinda cute in that dress, but not my type or style of face or clothing, You seem to look a bit Obama-esq?

Below the baseline, (make of it what is reasonable and fair for survival at the lower income levels in various regions/districts) these people keep their receipts and send them to the tax office for a full rebate of the GST paid... and use 10% or 20% GST (General retail-level Sales Tax) should be adequate (need to calculate National retail sales and from that, identify the revenue needed... It would become an election issue) - - All politicians work voluntarily... Medical litigation is forbidden or litigation needs to demonstrate gross incompetence or gross dereliction of duties to succeed and then only for related costs... There are some broad ideas that may provide a basis on which to expand for a total legislation re-write...
