Way to go Wynand Nortje! You know when more sailors know who Frank Mighetto is than who Russell Coutts is that there is something special going on. I would say you just made a few VIP lists yourself. Just remember, I am not like a talk show host, spouting off to get 100 views ever hour. I actually believe everything that I post. So do the folks that feed me. That doesn't mean we are always correct. Just candid to the point of offending. I suppose there is a mess to clean up now. Carry On.

Wynand, you really amaze me mate, (you should get used to that word) I thought you made a joke or so, thus I changed fields.

My goodness, Frankie boy must have slaughtered and terrorized the lot. Even strongbellies like the SA bunch; only one guy considering to take Frankie boy back, provided we send him a "fluffer" too (new sail?).

Frankie boy, this is not a site for you, no real ocean sailors in it, capito?
I have a better site for you. There you are among friends! Real friends. Go tell them about your friendship with Jim Teeters!

    Go to "BANGTHECORNER.COM"

(and send the fluffer to me)

Quote Wynand N: Be warned of the "fourth dimension" whatever this may be

Wynand, j_dirge on SA pointed out that "fourth dimension" should really be "fourth MODE". Spaghetto likes to quote Bethwaite, and Bethwaite uses that term for the way Aussie racing skiffs sail heeled over in light wind. Unfortunately, the Mac has to use fourth mode in all wind conditions. :)

    Robert Gainer Designer/Builder

    Why?, O Why?

Wynand, why did you do this, the cancer is spreading. Now we have his name (the name that should not be said) all over the forums. At first it was funny, but now its downright annoying to get all the e-mails telling me some more nonsense has been added to the already crowded bandwidth. Let this die, and we should all hope he goes away and annoys someone else.
    All the best,
    Robert Gainer

I would not normally feel compelled to correct anyone on this but in light of our recent ridicule on another site for our ignorance on such topics I feel it is necessary to enlighten you in the terminology common to the denezens of these less than genteel forums.
A "Fluffer" is not, in fact' a sail.
Literally hundreds of off color innuendos, puns and suggestive phrases came to mind in trying to explain this to you but I think I had more fun trying to avoid writing one as I would have had I given in to temptation.
Like I tell my crew---OK fun's over, lets get back to boats.

Please, be nice to Mig. I DON'T agree with him, but in any case, try being nice. Nice him to death. It works.

Okay mk, whatever you say. There's some more info here if you want stuff to read.

Edit: Removed taunt after mk removed name-calling from the preceding post.

I've never seen Mackid and Mighetto together. Mig disapeared and MK showed up . . . something fishy going on here . . . Mackid, what did you do with Mighetto?

Ok, look. I'm not Mig. He is not me. I am a relatively new member who looked at this post, saw people bashing someone, so i checked his other posts (Mig's) and his website. he doesn't seem so bad whatsoever. However, his ideas, though well written, aren't well researched. So, just be nice, ok?

Being nice didn't work. And I think he likes the bashing.

I think we'll have to try psychotropics.

    My advice:

    1. Study basic physics
    2. Read the TP 52 and Secrets of Yacht Design threads
    3. Repeat until you see the error of your ways
