Good luck with it Michael I hope your project is moving ahead.

Not sure who is saying nobody trailers these boats - here is group of us in transit from Adelaide to Geelong - about 750km - for the Aus multi nationals a few years back. We regularly do the East Coast of Oz from Adelaide - a couple of thousand k's each way to Brisbane and a few guys come to us from Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane area. <2.5m wide means no oversize restrictions here which makes life easier.

You can fold an F9 or an F32 in less than a minute - loosen 4 beam bolts, undo a few tramp clips and lift. We used to do this every time we sailed my F9 when it lived in a tight marina spot. It is slightly easier with a fixed rig than a rotating rig as the lower shrouds on the main hull support the fixed mast more securely when you fold.

    cheers

    Hello,
I have new, unused plans for the F-32...32AX in 2.5m and 2.8m versions, with two daggerboard options (elevator and rotary).
For personal reasons, I'm considering selling them.
Of course, I have full documentation, including a license number for a single copy from Ian Farrier in 2009, for the buyer.
I am the second owner of the plans.

Im trying to work this out too, and it seems in NSW there is exception for towing sailing boats, and you can go to 3.5m beam with no permit, just signs/lights etc

though the scarab 32 is just over this at 3.77

Im looking for options to build something like the farrier given i dont think ill get plans or parts. I bought the study guide for scarab avalon and 32
