The brainwash is a prevalent tactics in the usa. Another fine example how the usa population is kept in total information darkness is the oil spill in the Mexican Gulf.

Today's latest news are that the oil is not only NOT gone, but it is everywhere despite teh official NOAA reports.

A group of scientists went out, apparently and found MASSES of oil on the seabeds and in the water where there should have been no traces of it according to the governmental reports.

On top of that, now not only fish are dying, but apparently tens of people are reported daily in regional hospitals for poisoning with the toxic fumes emanating from pollution.

Here's the page, all usamade and maintained. Nothing to do with good young masrapido. Pure 100% made in usa information:

    Note this one:

Quote Of The Day: "The payments have shut off, denials are going up, and we have no communication and no answers."
    - Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon on claims process

    New Orleans all over again.

What would unsafe world do without the usa?

Eh.. 'lemme tink a little... it's a difficult question ye 'now?

Mas, every major newspaper in the country carried the story about the oil on the bottom, and the news was also all over the internet. I don't own a television, but I'll bet it was on the evening news there, too. How can you say we're being 'kept in the dark' about it?

And you put the wrong label on that hysterical, fear-mongering blog. It's actually pure 100% made in usa misinformation and disinformation.

Give it a rest; You're going to sprain your fingers.:D:D:D

I suspect a significant portion of his brain was washed away years ago. It's a pity the noisy part is what survived....:)

They probably did, but I could only find CNN on the net. So, for the hard copies I'd have to believe you. But I am the atheist, so that may be difficult for me, to believe I mean.

And as you can see, the links are not working any more. Russian TV agency (Russians are capitalists now, so they must be telling the truth) actually had it a bit more dramatic than it really is. Fun to read.

So, in the light of all the hype, I just couldn't pass the opportunity...

I guess, I miss the days wen we all used to spend the days from the dawn till the sunset just looking for something to trash the Soviets. No matter what. Even if it was only a chook dying in a poorly maintained farm.

As long as we could point the finger at the losers and cream as loud as possible: "There you go! THAT'S the commies for you! Is that yo want for our children?!?!!?"

Stuff like that. Surely you remember those good old days?

Well, now, with Soviets gone, the days are little slower... So the other bulli is what we have to contend ourselves with...

    : )

(I'll consider the suggestion about the fingers)

What a stupid comment. I am merely offering the link with the information.

How retarded of YOU to brand MY behaviour retarded, when the authors of the information are usanians.

How much more stupid can you usanians get?

Kill the messenger and the problem is solved?

Open the link, and read, and you will understand how much of an idiot you just made of yourself.

Girls, take your book lovers' club elsewhere. Here the subject is which place is more dangerous. Europe or America.

(I mean this in the nicest and frendliest way posible.)

Hush, child. You're interrupting the adults in the room.:(
You have an advantage over me; the only language I can really read books in is English. Although I suppose with a little patience, I could puzzle one out in Spanish....

Well, yes but this is a boat – forum after all, boats are what we all have in common and like. :) Digressions into the boats should be tolerated.

It’s getting very late here, I’ll need some rest, tomorrow further …

    Cheers.

There are quite a few in Dutch, I can read German reasonably well, would like to know French, they have a lot of very interesting publications.

So many interesting things to do, so little time …

Goodnight. By the way, concerning your comment about wanting to build an Egret: I have no experience with one. But I've read comments by someone at a place that had one in its fleet. He said she was slower than their other boats, and didn't ride as comfortably.

Commodore Monroe himself said the original 'could carry full sail in anything,' if I remember the quote correctly. To me, that would indicate she might have been under-canvased by the standards of the time.

But of course, she was a work boat. Monroe's priorities were slanted towards seaworthiness, ease of handling and reliability, not racing or pleasure cruises...

MAsrapido could very well take a long break now!
Donnez moi des vacances s'il vous plait...

    To the Americans (USA), remember:

    1) When we (Europeans) criticize the US, it's done out of love or friendship, like you critisize your brother or sister. For a century or so the best of us left and moved to America, the people who stayed here where those who overslept and didn't catch the boat...
    2) Also, one reason we (and yourself) can criticize USA is that it is a very open society, with a free press where everything is openly discussed. If we knew as much about other countries as we do about USA it would probably be a lot of things to criticize.

Certainly. I wonder how many countries would come out smelling of roses after some large-scale disclosures to Wikileaks? ;)
