Europe more dangerouse than USA? (gunshots vs terror threat)

This thread is full of very simplistic Black/White world perspectives, and alot of media popularisation. When will people understand that Islam does NOT equal terrorism? there is about 1,2 million muslims in the world, and you think all are women hating suecide bombers? The militant talibans are a small minority.

One of many examples i read in this... many many more, of how someone things eruope is becoming a muslim "nation" (absurd to even think of europe as a single nation in that sense), others about how america being the saviour of the world against all kinds of problem.

Sometimes the truth is simple.

 

i would say very rarley. unless you shorten it down to people are stupid. myself included, were all in some way or another hampered by feelings and unexplainable ideas. not that it's an entierly bad thing, but when it comes to politics i would say it often gets in the way of ethnics.

 

Ethnics[sic] can be a problem if you can't get along with them.

Could you rig one behind the boat trailer? Lets see: 25 ft long pickup truck & 25 ft long boat (Trailer is 28ft log & one of these camper ATV haulers at maybe anout 24 feet.
May be a bit hard in the city but on the highway it would work.

Yes, yes, yes - we've heard that their are many more good Muslims than bad. This is just as there are many more good Swedes than bad or many more good Americans than bad...Out of curiosity, what do you do to a blond-haired blue-eyed man in Sweden when you catch him learning how to make bombs, buying the ingredients and talking with his buddies about the best way to blow up a passenger train?
This is what I ask of Muslims. If one is good then he cannot sit idle knowing his neighbor is planning to kill innocents. Since Muslims seldom turn in other Muslims, I argue that there are probably fewer good ones by our standards than we suspect (and if our standards are the ones to be used, why are we letting peoples with other standards into our countries? Out of respect for diversity, on the other hand, shouldn't we forgo our history, borders and culture and say "come and get it"? After all, there are more Muslims than Swedes or Americans - who are we to say "We like it here without you"? Shouldn't we just give our landmasses to Muslims and leave? Wouldn't that be the enlightened thing to do? Fair is Fair.). Again, even if one (Muslim) cared not for his fellow man and harbored some small desire to see non-Muslims hurt, wouldn't he still turn in the bomb-making neighbor because it causes grief for all of them when bombs explode? Further argument that there are fewer good ones, by these standards, than we would like to think.
I am not going to hate a man because he is Muslim as I am not going to hate a man because he is Swedish (My Finn friends don't seem to care for you, BTW), black or Chinese - I don't care about that but if a bomber comes out of the Chinese neighborhood and bombs some kids in my neighborhood, I will be suspicious of Chinese. I will profile until the problem is solved. I will demand that they find the culprit from within their community. That does not make me a racist, methinks.
May I trouble you with more examples? We have an illegal immigration problem in the United States. Most of them are Mexicans. They commit crimes, they harbor other Mexicans who commit crimes, they shoot at policemen, they spray graffitti. I want them deported, jailed, executed if the crime is **** or murder. I sound like a racist there, don't I?
Well, my wife of ten years is as Mexican as the nopales and I would lay down my life for her or my two beautiful children I have with her. My best friend is a Mexican.
Here - Another. A crazed black man went into a coffee shop where four young police officers were having coffee before work in Tacoma, Washington...ohh, something like a year ago. He had spent some time in prison for ****, I think, previously but was mistakenly pardoned because he was young when he was originally sentenced. He shot the cops before they had a chance to react. I think they all died. This man escaped to Seattle and do know what? Some of the people there helped hide him from the massive man-hunt because he was black and so were they. Am I racist because I feel that they should be executed, as well? ...I'm part black (my crank). No, really, I have a small percentage of African in my genetic make-up and yet I want these people rounded up and punished. I can't be a racist against myself can I?
