I am rebuilding a small block Ford in a 1995 Four Winns. What is the correct firing order. Is it a reverse rotation engine?

    Easy:
-turn the starter over, note which way the engine turns when viewed from the front.

-find the displacement, and look up on google.

-and/or contact customer service and ask them

if its a stern drive then all same like a car, clockwise from the front but that is called Left hand in the marine world as they look at the flywheel.
Never seen a reverse rotation ford though?

most likely 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 as I believe the marine engines all had the H.O 302 (same as 351) firing order. If not try 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.

I'd try the first one as per above. As far as why, are you asking why the firing order is what is? or why I asked?
