    RagnarTheDane Swabbie's Boot Shiner

I'm a blacksmith (not ferrier) and welder, and have the equipment I would need to weld aluminum. I just disagree.
The plywood epoxy sandwich is not only more cost effective, and lighter by far, but I've patched a slew of auminum boats due to these north TX stumps.
Not to mention they dent horribly, snag heavily once dented, but generally are a pain.

With the exception of my Lil 66 Mckenzie Cherokee, I done with aluminum :) (no disrespect to any aluminum lovers!!)

This fx20 seems to be the trick, and boasts a 5 inch draft with 430lbs per inch additional? ... heck, if that's half true I'm happy :):)

Thanks all for the wonderful advice! I appreciate yall taking the time!
