Cicadas frequently fall into your grub. Just flick them off with a knife.

The mosquitoes are so dense you can hear them buzzzz.
Since Tourists never remember to bring mosquito coils , they loose vast quantities of blood and never return....

    the ambiance is great.

You quote me, then you, the me again....

What are you asking. As far as I know trolling is cutting and pasting from the internet --I don't do that --thank you.

Frosty, have you ever offered a recipe in this thread, or an given an honest suggestion on foodstuffs that keep on a boat and are easy to prepare, or said anything at all that's actually helpful, instead of just showing up to barf on the page?

My apologies. I temporarily forgot you had posted that... No, I haven't tried it yet, but I intend to. I've been averaging close to eighty hours a week at work for a while, and it's crimping my style.

Yeah well apology accepted but just keep those guns locked up while your feeling crimpy and unnecessarily angry with people and making incorrect decisions due to sleep deprivation..

    Get my drift bro?

Now I apologize but I just could not let that opportunity get away.

Frosty, folks like me who grew up with guns, and take owning them for granted, aren't a problem. Since we're well aware of what they can do, we aren't likely to pull one out except as a last resort. And even then, we won't pull the trigger unless there's no way around it....

The people you need to worry about are those who weren't raised with guns, and never had any training concerning them. They're the ones who are likely to wave one around unnecessarily, while not knowing better than to keep their finger away from the trigger..

One of my foster daughters had a boyfriend who accidentally shot himself in the hand with a 9mm pistol. She told me, "it wasn't his fault, dad. Honest!! He left it on the dining room table, and someone spilled Coke on it. So when he unloaded it before he started spinning it on his finger, the dried Coke made one of the bullets stick in the gun."

I've never had the time or energy to list everything that was wrong with that statement. But it would make a pretty long list. Idiots like him with guns worry me. But my friends, coworkers and family members who were raised with guns don't worry me.....

Then you shouldn't have brought the subject up to begin with. Having done so, you can hardly complain because I responded.

    You're fooling no-one....

    Prime example of trolling:

Anyways what is also handy aboard are pressure cookers-small ones for beans, etc and a large one for canning (in jars) the smoked salmon,or other fish elsewhere in the world.

Seen this mentioned in other places. How does one go about canning fish etc in a pressure cooker? I've got 2 of them.

Gee... canning fish like Tuna is easy and its the best way to deal with 15 kilos of fish.

All you need is olive oil, Canning jars, chunks of tuna and whatever herb or flavour you feel would add a nice touch. Capers are commonly added.

Best to Google . Also look for American Sportfisherman recipes for canned fish.,... and for classic Sicilian , Spanish recipes

You put the fish and empty can in the cooker with lid at the bottom. switch it on and when it stops hissing open the cooker and the fish is in the can with the lid sealed.

I think thats what was being imagined by a poor posting.

A pressure cooker cooks faster because it can achieve a higher heat being under pressure. Like the radiator cap on you car it allows the engine to run hotter without boiling.
