    I think I'll take a pass on this story. In the first place, only about 50% of people in the US have any sort of investment at all in mutual funds, and only 20% have any outside their company retirement plans. So I find it highly unlikely that 99% of her group had mutual funds to begin with.

    Nor am I willing to believe that 99 out of 100 normal 'spiritually committed' people would refuse to push the button, while citing the reasons Ms. Fitts gives. She must hang with a peculiarly focused crowd. But this is certainly the appropriate thread for all things Catherine Austin Fitts...:D

    Seems like this whole thing is a ploy by our moderator to distract us while he quietly eliminates other nonboating related threads. Then, once accomplished and we least suspect it, ZAP, this one will disappear as well.

    Hmm
    Hmm
    think about it.

    I would guess the drug trade was a net loss to the US
    Plenty of countries will accept your cash especailly if you dont have a business there so no questions to ask.

    I've never had any issues with moderation here and think they do a fair job myself. :D But I'm afraid we do have one flag waving disillusioned member here that likes to flag posts for moderation making the moderators life here sometime difficult :D . I really do wish I could see the world through the same "Rose Colored Glasses" myself. :) Or maybe somebody should offer to share about their "happy pills"..

    I was just making light of the thread Bamby, although I've always suspected Jeffs secretly a CIA operative and "they're" just trying to keep track of all us subversives who also happen to think we're mariners.

    Flagging posts, sounds like a conspiracy to me :p:p:p

    why what did you say now :?:

    The gold standard is an outdated notion anyway.
    If the economy collapses, without money willing to buy gold at high prices, it is only a block of yellow metal. Like it or not, economies are tied together now.

    More conspiracy theories?
    Shoreline protection;
    anti-beach grooming laws;
    wetlands protection that keeps you from digging a simple pond or ditch.
    Can't put a dock in for fear of "disturbing the bottom land" without more trees in permit papers than the dock itself!
    Regulations against dropping a simple buoy.

    When you see what a tsunami or other natural force does, is there a point to all this paperwork protection?

    I went to my user CP and seen where the resident flag-waver dinged me :D . Not that I really care, but like his fearless leader he was to ball-less to actually sign his name to my ding.. ;)
