You should specify size, number of engines you want, symmetrical or asymmetrical hulls, open or enclosed waters etc.

Is this a one-off or are you planning on production?

Do you want a cored hull or solid fiberglass? For a solid fiberglass, you will need to build a plug and take a mold; then make the boat. Basically, you build a boat three times. With foam or other core, you build a set of frames/molds, lay the core over and laminate the outside. Then you turn it over and laminate the inside. There will be a lot of fairing and sanding, which takes about 80% of the total labor for a really nice finish.

As gonzo points out, fibreglass is not ideal for one-off boats. You should be able to find designs for alloy or plywood construction. Here's an example using alloy:

That would be my choice too. With plywood, you can incorporate some cold molded sections to create compound curves if necessary.

To the extent of my ability, I will try to help Iinvent1963 :
In addition to explaining the construction method that each of us would use, and Iinvent1963 has not asked, "does anyone know where he can find a fiberglass design?". I do not know, if I did gladly say.
I guess, once known design in particular, we can talk about the best construction system, not before.

I would deff go with plywood as I have done a couple of small boats with plywood.
I'm sorry I didn't make that clear that is the way I do want to go .
Like I said I'm New at this and am looking for a nice modern design

    This one is 6m.

Composite is ideal for one-off vessels - we deigned dozens of boats in sandwich panels (say, honeycomb panels with fiberglass skins), they are fast to assemble, stiff, light and do not rot/corrode.
