I am trying to learn to use FreeShip.

I found a tutorial on line and have been working through it. However, the practice design is open in the back, so it obviously wouldn't float.

I am trying to add a transom, but it isn't working. I define some points in the transom location, but then when I try to create a face using those points the points simply disappear.

    Any suggestions?

Are you adding faces to an invisible layer perhaps?
It seems like that because the moment the face is added the points disappear.
Make sure all your layers are visible to check this, hopefully your transom will show up.

Try highlighting the edge line of the hull and extruding it inwards...then shape it to fit.

I tried the suggestion to extrude, and it worked.
