Can I Remove 4' off a 16' John Boat?

    By the wayMichaelm2n, Jon boats are no fun to paddle or row. They aren't designed for it.

    In shallow water, poling is probably the way to go. Otherwise, I'd slap a small outboard or a trolling motor on it.
