(is it just me, or is it a bit bent?)

I think it is bent as in *****/gay or whatever your imagination allows.... Always one or two out of step:?::?::?::?::?:

Maybe it's optimised for racing around a circular course? The guy in the middle is goofing off, and it doesn't appear to be actually moving through the water although all the others are splashing madly.

Designed for lefthanded oarsmen? The bend will correct the more force applied to the oars by the left arm...?

Mas, when I wrote that I was so biting my tongue. I'm always concious of my own pedal boat being a *bit* gay, even when loaded up with hubba hubba (tm) lobster creels. My 20 year old step daughters would definitely put this picture way into the *so* gay category!
Terry, Knut - its got to be. the outrigger canoe we built for a raft race in the summer you could paddle with everyone on one side, and we *definitely* built that straight on the campsite. Sure of it. Absolutely. Straight as a die.
Knut -that's terrifying. especially the video.
Just looked at the Stampfli Express website, and its a modular build. Gonna point Sean H at it now. Mwahahahaha!

So, then it's probably the earth's curvature then.....:D

btw; I also like the vid of KYS... Especially the way it takes the waves, or not, come to think of it... Seen the creation IRL a couple of times, also in operation. What strikes me is the absolutely positive attitude of the builders... Notthin' gonna take them down (mentally).

You might like the " attitude " of the builders Knut .....but I sure don`t like the " attitude " of the boat in what appears to be only minor swell...:D

" Or not " is right...:p Never seen a cat that so desperately wants to be a..... sub ......:D Another Rescue or disaster waiting to happen.................

Been looking for this for a while - I saw it in Sausalito in the late 80's. Now a well known restaurant in San Francisco. Not only does it float, but it steers too.

And its freaking bonkers! but in a good way...

Where do they " steer " it to ?
Do they move it under cover of darkness to confuse the customers ? :D

I kind of like the look of it.I want one.
