    Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy Mahogany and Teak planks and also frame material, either online or direct. I live in North East Oklahoma. I've looked online but haven't really found anything local.

Any suggestions on how to purchase these materials?

    Thank You.

Best thing to do is to look for a wooden boatbuilder closeby. Teak is rarely used in any quantity now, costs $23 a foot locally here as of last week.
Mahogany a bit over half that (in smaller quantities for both).
White oak might be easiest to get if you were using that for framing stock.
Substitutions for mahogany include Spanish and African cedars and Phillipine mahogany (again a cedar), more easily found.
    Good luck.

I use Brazilian IPE instead of teak, it is 3.50 afoot and looks just like once you oil it. It is hard to work with and harder but most cant tell difference when done
