if you have some one there as well as yourself just twist the mould and it should completely come loose and lift it our from the bow end !! :p

Flexable moulds usually part very very easly , as the mould twists the surface on each side moves in differant directions and the product just pops out ! my little 7 foot clinker i had to be really careful when making the boat because the mould had no frame or base so i used two partly filled bags of sand to sit the mould on top of so it would not move while making the boat .

Water could be your last resort!!! apart from chopping the boat or mold to get it out like last time !!:D

    boat stuck in mold.
    boat destroyed, mold destroyed,
where ever i put the gel coat for the previous repairs on the mold, the boat is glued to it and the part where i can bearly get free on the gunnels its taken parts of the mold off and stuck to the boat, like before but alot worse. my heart is shattered and ive spilt a tear. i didnt deserve this.

It's too bad it turned out badly.
Look upon it as an opportunity to start fresh with a new design of your own choosing.

Better luck next time. What will come from the briar but the berry?

Pretty uncool for you, maybe have a few trails on glass plate & then mold off that to check your process & materials. Best wishes from Jeff.

    I am so sorry.

There are damn few times in a mans life when such grief is felt, and this is one if them. We can invest so much of our heart and soul into a project that it almost becomes a part of us, and when it fails....well it is truly heart wrenching. I know exactly how you feel because I've done this more then once in my life. There isn't much else I can say at this point...except that I am very sorry.

what !!! lets back peddle to the beginings you have to get to the bottom of this . from the time you did you repairs till the time up applied the gel goat what did you do !! step by step blow by blow and leave nothing out want to know everything total !!
you did some thing i never heard of before . with pva and wax it shoud have litteraly fallen out of the mould .
what did you do wrong !! i never heard of this ever before . The rags you used where did they come from where they new and unused . did you pick up a rag you never used before that was laying on your bench . what did you wipe on the mould !! wax what did you use ??
the first coat of wax you applied what did you do ?? from the time you took the lid off the tin , check the tin and make sure its wax some cleaners come in tins look just the same as the wax .
Was it TR wax or honey wax you used ?? come on want answers !!
how did you apply . number of coats time between etc etc .
The pva ,check it is true to lable !! you should still have heaps left over 50% water from the tap and 50% pva from the bottle .
reguardless if you have waxed or not waxed the pva along would have been completely enough . did you mix anything with the gelcoat !! if its stuck all over the gel coat sounds very suspect !!!! what about the catalyst is it tha same stiff you been using all the time or do you have differant catalyst for the gelcoat You got to find what you done wrong because you will do the same thing again if its a product that not true to lable or what ever you have to find it , no good kicking the dog of getting drunk you must find the answer even if it takes a week . or a month !! think !!!
Go and spend your last dollar on a lotto ticket !!
sanding even to bare glass and no gel coat on the mold with glass fibres showing with wax and pva release agent it would have come apart no problem . . Tell me about you pva where did it come from ?? what colour is it etc etc line up all the products you have for you glassing including the resin and catalyst on the bench and i want a picture if every one so can see and read the lables .how do you measure it how accurate is you measuring ?? tell me about the polishing and waxing . how did you do it and what did you use?? waxing how did you do what did you use ?? got to find the answer and dont you dare give up . must find the answer !!. moulds are replaceable boats are replaceable ,dont walk away and shut the door search for answers come on !! want to know !! just think if it was you dream boat !!, \Personally i have spent hours and hours writing and taking pictures and sending information . a few nights i only had barely 3 hours sleep thinking about what you are doing !! if it wasnt so far and so exspensive id jump on a plane and come to where you are .I am about to go to bed for another sleepless night . I have 90 foot boat partly built the 8 guys almost cocked up the laminate on it yesterday lucky i have sharp eyes and saw the guy about to cut into a brand new roll of glass and when i checked it was the wrong laminate they were about to lay some one had miss read the instruction sheet that he had been given . the day before they tried to lay balsa and didnt have the right tape for the bag but carried in any way so lost a whole big area of balsa and after checking what came off it would have delaminated any way because the balsa sucked the resin out of the glass below !! these guys profess to be experts and worked with glass for years . i now have guys that vanish and run for cover when i walkin the workshop . they hide because they know they are not doing the job properly but still do it any way. i take no prisoners i dont care who is at fault !! even the boss will get a ear full and has done recently . so find the answers !! give me your home address and how to find you . because if you dont find the answer i will come and haunt you !!
