    Hi,

It would like to know which optimum point for the position of the keel in a sail-boat?

This keel has 60 kg of weight and the Sail-boat has 5 meters of lenght.

Two different issues to consider. One is the balance of the sailboat's helm, and the impact of the center of lateral resistance on that balance.

The other is the fore & aft position of the boat's center of gravity. On most modern designs the boat's overall center of gravity should be 8/15 (53.33%) aft of the forward end of the waterline. Usually that means the ballast wants to be just forward of midships, but you'll need to determine whether the fore & aft trim on your boat looks right with that weight placement or not.
