Looking to buy a new or recent 24'-26' center console and want the hull with the best performance (blend of speed, efficiency and handling in typical West Coast seas ie; 2'-3' wind chop) .... Any strong opinions or personal experience to lend?

Cape Horns are truly solid boats. We own a 21 and have gone on multiple rides on 24s, but could not justify the expense b/c my family boats on a large rough lake in oklahoma. Anyways, if you want simple, clean, solid boats, the cape horn is the way to go. I know what you mean on trying to find one, we waited until we went on vacation in the destin area and brought one home.
