    Hi

A new article is posted on www.thenavalarch.com!

This article talks about the importance of studying the environment of the tow route and selecting the optimum sized Barge depending on the environment. Choosing to calculate the bollard pull for an open ocean environment when the tow route is in a benign area may just lead to an oversized tug being selected, with increased costs of operations.
