    hehehe....

When the waves are heading roughly in the same direction that I wish to go - I can get a nice boost - with the old folding propellers - up to 19 knots whilst surfing on the boat... With the new kit I should be able to surf till I fall asleap...

Mine hates following seas and once did 180 degree spin. Its the bulbous bows what did that --I still hav'nt altered them,--coming soon maybe this year.

I am fine. Click on http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/noaa/noaa.gif and it will show the most current map.

Here is a smaller version of the latest one 'til now.

    Hi Frosty,
Are you sure 'Chip' is a bloke - - for we all know what 'hehehe' refers to, and that may be her affliction? and your friend Ben may be ben-ding in the wrong direction?

5595 - - This is serious and quite worrying http://www.moneymorning.com.au/20120702/libor-the-banking-scandal-that-could-cause-a-riot.html -- -- LIBOR – The Banking Scandal that could unsettle lots of other central banks...

"The latest scalp is the Chairman of the world’s 4th biggest bank – Barclays Plc.
Barclays faces an industry record fine to boot: $451 million. That’s close to half a billion dollars.
    . . . . . . . . . . It won’t stop with Barclays. . . . . . "

    Hi Longcours62,
Read the article, that was not a loss but a FINE imposed for fixing the wholesale interbank exchange interest rate... The usual BS where a bank says they are not admitting guilt but will settle "out of court" and is usually between 1% and 10% of the profit that they made on the fraudulent deals of that nature - recently - ...... Barclays is one of the entities usually referred to as "the Banksters" who are purported to be the main protagonists involved in significant market manipulation to support the US$...
Read the book "The Creature from Jekyll Island" about the creation of the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank - which is owned and controlled by those bankers... A fascinating story where the money is counted in trillions...

http://www.rollingstone.com/politic...-banking-scam-royal-bank-of-scotland-20120629 - - "Another Domino Falls in the LIBOR Banking Scam: Royal Bank of Scotland"

and another issue on the same matter http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/jun/29/mervyn-king-banks - - -

and of the top 5 USA banks, a black hole of 289 trillion in derivatives outstanding at the top five US bank holding companies as of March 31, 2012 www.boatdesign.net/forums/all-thing...nally-prepared-natural-disaster-42924-28.html

Gross World Product (GWP) was, according to the CIA factbook equivalent to US$70,160billion, (in 2011 US dollars) which is some 4.119 years of total world product to amass an amount equating to the debts accumulated by those top 5 banks in USA... SOMEONE IS TOTALLY MAD..... (289trillion divided by 70.16trillion = 4 years in 2011 values) - - That is madness...

I have several that sit in water a lot cover their props in large black plastic bags. Stuff wont grow in dark oxygen less area. When time comes to leave just pull cover and throw away. It works 100 %

http://www.macrobusiness.com.au/ does not give me long term confidence - all talk is of "hard-landings" and tough times ahead - I prefer to look on the bright side - - - I am almost ready to head off North - some things not done, like lowering the berths and installing large turtle pack of a couple of other options - but at Au$22 each, I rill remain with 20 litre fuel drums, for convenience and budget...

I now have a HF radio receiver... - I will have someone permanently mount the transducer for my depth sounder... - I am still researching local cheaper options for an RO water-maker to deliver better than 60 litres/hour... 5 & 15 micron filters, high-pressure "hose" fittings and have the high pressure pump the other bits are being priced - hoping for under Au$2000  :D

I had to do something to give the link some justification..... the content in the link is very pertinent and appropriate for the market NOW...

I like this weather site and it seems to work worldwide except for the radar, which is only the USA.
