Yes I am a grumpy old batard, ive got heomorhoids from sitting at this bloody computer. Wish ide never heard of boat design . bloody net. Seeing as Ive never given birth theres not much else can have caused it

Waiting for a call from Gleneagles hospital.

Talking of survival --if I survive this, will you survive, cant run a round shooting at stuff if your ill,----- think about that for your little silly conversation.

My advice get off your arse now-- go a walk or summat. is there a self cancellation of membership button anywhere.

    http://www.emedicinehealth.com/hemorrhoids/article_em.htm#Hemorrhoid Causes
    Hemorrhoid Causes
Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins causing them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoid formation. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

So Frosty, you are not alone in that complaint - but thankfully I am not one... I hope you recover soon... I foresee some dietary changes http://www.emedicinehealth.com/hemorrhoids/page5_em.htm#Hemorrhoid Treatment

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001337/ also advises to drink plenty of fluid, and I do not think they mean beer ? but who knows after 8 glasses of neat whiskey you should be so inebriated that you s41t yourself readily?

I will survive, until I am ready to die... - On your last question, Ask Jeff nicely, and the button is the send button in the PM... Fare well...

Oh mate I have spent hours on the internet --you have covered but a few causes and the only one that can have done me in is sitting at this bloody computer. No blood or compact feces, no change in bowel habits no straining no bloody nothing but sitting.

A kuala bear eats less salad than I do. Ive never strained to pass in my life.

Which is why Ime so bloody pissed of as I am a very undeserving patient.

Be ware of sitting at computers, let alone the eyes.

You need a thicker book than that --one that includes DIY dentistry and small surgical conditions or life is worth less.

Its a little more that rubbing 2 sticks together to make a 3 bedroom log cabin bungalow.

    May be you

misunderstand what I am trying to said : this book was an example for answering to the question of make some "farming at sea"
for the medical side I already made the Medical III training (it is the basic training level for professional Captain after basic and level II) plus the resume of this training in book we have :
La medecine du bord by J.Y. Chauve
    Medecine en mer sans medecin
    Vidal
    Vidal de l'automedication
    Voyages et Santé
    La Médecine du voyage
that it is for the training and the theory books and for the side of the equipment we have
something like a normal stock for a merchant ship with 10 crews members...
But we hoppe never needs all this things...of course:D

Oatmeal is an important food. Light weight, inexpensive, expands when cooked, filling and satisfying, high energy and fiber, lots of vitamins.
The roman empire was built on oatmeal. It was the principle diet of roman legions.
I never eat kids boxed cereal, even when I was a kid!
I have always preferred oatmeal or grits for breakfast cereal. With fruit.
Couple eggs don't hurt either! :)

    Good morning, Hoyt

I Eat porridge with honey almost every day if not corn flakes and soy milk with apple. Just had salad with sardines at 8pm and after I had a 2 or 3 cream crackers with peanut butter. Whatching telly now with cushions under my arse eating grapes.

I know your trying to help but I dont even have constipation, or even difficulty in passing.

Its sitting down whats done me in.

Boy this forums gone quite, I guess no ones got anything they want to talk about.

I looked down the list but theres nothing much excites me. Any way its easier on the olde hemorrhoids. Ive been up and doing stuff today and still only four posts since I last looked.

The only thing attracting attention is that boat stuck in the mold certainly not survival.

No one is as interested in your hemorrhoids as you are. Get well soon, but please don't tell us about it. Tell your wife. She's stuck with you and has to listen or pretend to :) Or go see a doctor and get yourself fixed up. They'll also pretend to listen to you because you are paying :D
