If there's a natural disaster, we can cash in the Yobarnacle's bumper stickers and Masalai's financial advice :D

This is NOT a natural disaster but man-made by abject incompetence by the ISP (Telstra) who normally can deliver 2MB/sec which is not really fast, but tolerable in this backward little country, BUT

BUT THIS IS bloody as close as it gets to a "natural disaster without reasonable cause" poorest is 5058 B/s (Bytes/Second !!!!! WTF ) slower than a fax of the 60's by far (which was 56K B/S) - so ONE-TENTH of the speed of a fax of more than 50 years ago, our postal service is better than THAT - I am sure....

Standby for further evidence of an " economic-/-business-meltdown" emanating from the Northern Hemisphere? . . . . . At least the cables to failing 'Fascist-socialist-state' of USA is functioning for the moment...

    Return to ?

You make it sound like it once existed.

When was there ever anything but a coalition of bureaucrats and rich industrialists or landowners plotting to take advantage of the less privileged- in any country of the world ?

great picture, have a good time. I gotta go rewire the alternator on my truck, must have screwed something up the first time around cause its not quite working correctly. I'd rather be out on the water though.

Hmmmmmmm, I've had the dog almost a year now and I've yet to introduce him to water. Wonder if he'll like the stuff or not ? Kinda hate it when he gets wet though, he's such a mop it takes forever for him to dry out.

What is a "minimalist government?, PREMISE: A 10% retail sales tax is MORE THAN ENOUGH to pay for the running and operation of ALL Government services
    - Represent the interests of the people (citizens) as the "peak law making body" by "acts of parliament",
    - Sets educational standards (not curriculum),
    - controls the borders (customs, immigration, excise),
    - collects taxes:-
    - - royalties on mining at 10%,
    - - farming produce exported @ 10% (internal 'value adding' is NOT taxed if for export), - - - imported natural farm produce taxed at 10% plus inspection charges by local farmer representatives to ensure compliance and pest and disease control.
    - - sales tax at end user/consumer point of sale of 10%,
    - - manufactured export @ 10%,
    - - ,
    - - ,
    - - - - - - Farming produce sold locally & not enhanced or processed is sales tax exempt. (fresh or chilled vegetables, - frozen fresh vegetables, - chilled milk, butter, cheese, - fresh meat, - fresh eggs & fruit - chilled and frozen meat, eggs, fruit)

Repeal laws that are ineffective and do not achieve useful outcomes:
. . . Like the "War on drugs" - "War on terror" - "force democracy on 'rogue nations'"...
. . . Remove all "NANNY STATE" rules and regulations...
    . . . Remove "Peak Government" - http://www.chrismartenson.com/blog/acknowledging-arrival-peak-government-part-1/75356

What is it supposed to do? -
    - Pay the judges & courts,
    - Pays for the work of teaching establishments,
    - Pays for the work of the Police Force and Primary Hospital facilities and Health Workers,
    - Infrastructure maintenance costs
    - - - Potable water,
    - - - sewerage treatment,
    - - - solid waste processing and domestic collection,
    - - - public roads, primary health, ensure adequate public transport services in urban regions,
    - - - regulate land use,
    - - - govern land ownership,
    - - - govern natural resource ownership

On another forum I keep getting whining from USA citizens about how other countries use tariffs etc to discriminate against their exports.

Funnily enough they resent me pointing out that the USA does the exact same thing.

You listening, Yob? Take a look at your protected sugar industry before you try to argue about it. Then your restrictive drug policy. Those Mexicans are just trying to supply a demand that your citizens want filled, you know.

Then let's get started on limited liability companies. Just how is this OK in a pure capitalist system? It's State protection against corporate theft basically. Let's make the shareholders jointly & severally liable for full costs until every one is bankrupt if their company goes bankrupt.

Hello.... are you still there, Yob?

Why don't you get a job instead of complaining all the time.

Would you be fine and dandy with us sending over boatloads of drugs to your shores to sell to your addicts and criminals?
