1985 Mercury 18XD carb swap?

    Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if the 25 hp carb off the same year ( 1985 ) will bolt on to my 18 hp Merc ? their supposed to be the same blocks, maybe also remove the restricker plate. thanks for any imfo Bill.
