    That's very true!
All those three yachts have been sold to companies for business use. One of them located at somewhere with no dock or pier at all. I still have no idea how they keep the boat.

Exactly! I know some of the shipyards use this method on their own products. But it causes problems sometimes, and the copied boats are not as stable and fast as the original ones. However, it saves money indeed.;)

    Aha!

Going to your website and seeing the boat in different photos, a person gets to appreciate it more.

I can tell you right now though that a mustache or ears won't work. Or toes.

.... & later cut & shut the moldings to create a whole range of lengths & model options..........

Asians have a flare of there own and see things a little differant so you need to stop copying european and american designs and do you own designs and close you mind off to what others have done and as said before mariners are filled with mindless look alikes all white all look the same row upon row of them .
spacy sort of , but trendy !! with colour and clever graphics ,shape thats pleasing to the eye ,functional and aerodynamicly inclined !! If you going to use an old hull then redesign from the chine up ,not the gunnel .
Even the tahitian islanders understand its the chine down thats the important part of any hull, the rest from the chine up is just eye candy !

As a retrofit to an existing hull, the cabin is more modern than the old one. Cutting the sheer to a more modern line and stern would be a more dramatic change.

You could take some side shots and measurements and redraw the sheer lines but remember to take in consideration the bow rake so be carefull what you do . also if the bow has flair as the sheer drops so the bean gets narrower very quickly . seeing you would be making a new deck i would not cut the hull mould but make a drop inside mould that could be fitted on and inside the old hull mould with a internal flange for the new deck to simply sit on top of , could be flexable epoxy glued and glassed inside all the way round and a clip over belting for the hull to deck corner easy all the way . you still have a 100% useable old mould and a new sheerline a new deck and your away and into manufacture . But if you money to burn cut a boat and use it as a plug build a new deck and make a mould off it , then roll it over and mould a new hull !! dont forget to do some stepped lines on the hull to change its appearance a little . hull side windows mad as plants on the mould that can be changed or removed if a customer doesnt want . :D
