original steel floors; steel ring frames, mast supporting and diesel supporting steel badly corroded framing was removed, and replaced by laminated wood framing. All steel fastenings were replaced by bronze or copper fastenings.

The mahogany hatches were rebuilt ; coated in epoxy and ten coats Epifanes varnish.

Hull was rebuilt and three layers cold molded veneer in west system added over the outer surface. Original framing was replaced by cold moulding framing.
