Designs Broadly Similar to Sam Devlin's Blue Fin 48

    Thanks, @bajansailor ! I was only aware of a couple of those, so that's helpful. The goal is to find a design that is (a) minimalist in all respects and (b) is designed for, or easily modified for, life in equatorial weather. So much of the boat design canon was designed for northern or mixed climate usage and with expansive feature sets.

    I want to agree with you re northern influences in boat,designs.
    I am in the tropics, where shade and ventilation are top priorities, and things like galley down and sleeping spaces below decks are simply horrifying!
