Hi regarding your question here two examples basically the workflow is with lofting tools but in some cases there the necessity to use surfaces trimming with blending tools or Gordon or even the sweep 2rail it depend from hulls shape, but the problematic of NURBS is understanding them rules, and limits, Rhino isn't an advanced NURBS tools such as for Alias or ICEMSurf, now only in CATIA. but is best in the market at this price.
The files is old and they aren't without errors, but can help you because in these two there are the curves used for lofting, and these at the moment they are the only that i remade with Nurbs with Moi3D my Nurbs tool for advanced works when I need but I use sometimes.
Because a feel better for my story with Blender, and these was made before with Blender.

In files for FreeShip there is some mistake in positioning the on works space, something that understood recently.
And for other question I suggest to look on manuals of software, there is no magic but only understanding the tools available

I think I am expressing myself very badly or you do not read carefully what I say
I've never said that, Rhino, as far as I know, it doesn't remove anything. I wanted to say, and I think that is what I have said, that Rhino hides, hides, does not remove, the surface imperfections.
My calculations don't start with a body lines plan. Where have I said that, what phrase of mine has led you to understand that? Tell me where I have stated that and I will correct it, because it is not true. What I usually do, and I think everyone will do the same, is to create in AutoCAD a 3D model, of wires, surfaces or solids, it depends on the type of boat, and with that model I perform the calculations. I don't do them with the body lines plan in pdf format (I don't know if that's what you have thought I was saying). The information to create this 3D model is obtained, as I said in my previous post, from various sources, with various formats. I think you know perfectly well that this is the only possible way to work with current CAD programs. I don't know why you ask me those things that, for you and for me, are, should be, obvious.
Regarding how much AutoCAD has changed, I can assure you that I have done these calculations with AutoCAD for more than 15 years.
Nor have I compared the "ease" to create surfaces in one or another program. What I mean is that, imo, the surfaces that are generated with AutoCAD go exactly through the lines that have served to create them, which, in my opinion, cannot be ensured in Rhino, unless, I repeat, it is dedicated more time to make the 3D model than the entire project. The final model in Rhino is, of course, much better than the one in AutoCAD, but with this latest software, a very good and very reliable model can be obtained, more quickly, to perform the naval architecture calculations.
I do not know of any small or medium shipyard that uses Rhino to create the construction drawings of their hulls. Instead, there are AutoCAD-based programs that serve this purpose.
And finally, and it is already the third or fourth time that I repeat it, I do not detract from Rhino, I only say that it is not a suitable program to design boats of, say, more than 7 meters (I just invented this figure and, therefore, you can disagree with it and give, if you feel like, any other figures)

Rhino has commands to quickly and easily create NURBS curves which pass exactly through selected points. Rhino - exact curve through points is easy and quick https://www.boatdesign.net/threads/rhino-exact-curve-through-points-is-easy-and-quick.63897/

The arrangement of the commands in Rhino is somewhat different than the equivalent commands in AutoCAD. Perhaps that is the origin of the confusion and incorrect claims about the difficulty of creating curves which pass exactly through points in Rhino.
